Rose wine and vodka are a perfect partnership in the warm summer months, but this cocktail can be drunk at any time of the year. Crisp fresh blackberries really give your palate a zing.
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
o Handful of blackberries
o 1fl.oz/30ml simple sugar syrup
o 5.oz/150ml dry Provence rosé wine, chilled
o 1½fl.oz/45ml vodka
o Squeeze fresh lime juice
o Lime wheels for garnish
Method:
Muddle two or three of the blackberries and the sugar syrup together in the bottom of a sturdy glass. Leave a little texture to the berries, do not completely crush them.
Add a little ice, followed by the wine, vodka and squeezed lime. Stir.
Strain the drink through a fine strainer, pour into your glass. Garnish with remaining blackberries, a slice or two of the lime and a little ice if desired.
